Nic Serbin

Nic is a Winnipeg-born musician who has been playing & performing music for 14 years. In middle school, he first started playing drums in both the concert band & jazz band. Nic continued to expand his musical horizons in high school by joining more programs such as choir, vocal jazz, music production & percussion ensemble. After high school, Nic studied electrical engineering at the University of Manitoba. He has been an active tutor at the University since 2019. Nic tutors a broad variety of subjects including calculus, digital logic, computer science, literary analysis & engineering mathematical analysis. Nic has also played locally as part of several bands outside of his schooling. He is currently a member of Red Apple Valley; a group with a passion for playing music, both new & old. Some of Nic's most-listened to genres of music include soundtracks, pop, K-pop, rock & electric. Aside from music, Nic’s favourite extracurriculars include D&D, movies/TV shows, video games & philosophy.
