Michelle Anderson

Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Manitoba and has been teaching, performing and recording for over 15 years. She studied classical guitar from a young age, and has since broadened her styles and techniques to include Folk/Roots and Pop/Rock. She has been playing the banjo professionally for over ten years with a focus on the clawhammer technique.

Over the years, Michelle has been performing, writing and recording with various musical groups from Winnipeg, the most prominent being the award winning group Sweet Alibi.
