Kaiti Rieder
Osborne | Violin, Piano, Cello, Clawhammer Banjo
Farm raised, free run, and organically grown, Kaiti Rieder took her interlake roots to the city where she is immersed in a career of music performance and pedagogy. With her heart deeply rooted in folk music, Kaiti explores song writing from the lens of a biracial, modern female artist and processes issues and world events through art and music. On the Pedagogy side, Kaiti has taught in many diverse teaching environments from private classical violin lessons to group fiddling with the Frontier School Division. With over 10+ years of teaching experience in classical, fiddling, and modern styles on instruments including violin, piano, cello, and clawhammer banjo, Kaiti strives to tailor lessons to the student so they are able to achieve their goals.
